I make this about once a week, but it’s so delicious it generally only lasts a day. It’s a granary loaf which has lots of raisins in it, which makes it delicious for breakfast (or any other time you fancy a snack…)
Ingredients
- 250g strong white bread flour
- 250g granary flour
- 200g raisins
- 1 sachet of fast action easy yeast
- 1 tsp soft butter or margerine
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 300ml warm water
If you’ve got a bread-maker this is super-easy. All you do is put all the ingredients into your bread-maker and put into on a white bread cycle (mine takes about 3 hours).
You could also do it by hand: mix, let it rise, knock it back let it rise again and then bake, but I can’t be more specific than that I’m afraid!
